Check it out! It a one-of-a-kind tour of the coolest bookstores in town!
Attention Dallas book lovers, we have a tour that’s meant just for you! Our local bookstore scene is blooming and we have the perfect way to explore some of the city’s most wonderful independent bookstores without a worry about traffic or parking.
During our excursion you’ll have a chance to explore these bookstores, learn what makes these shops special, and of course you’ll get plenty of time to shop for books!
We’ll also make a stop at the Erik Jonsson Central Library, the main library of the Dallas Public Library. You’ll see literary treasures from the DPL collection – including a rare copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio from the 1600s and an original copy of the Declaration of Independence from 1776.
We’ll visit unique Dallas bookshops in Preston Hollow, Deep Elum, Downtown, Oak Cliff and beyond!
I See Dallas Tour Company takes care of the planning, parking, and driving, so you can relax and enjoy your day chatting with other book lovers along for the tour.
Several bookstores on the route offer coffee and baked goods if you need a snack (books, food and beverage purchases are up to you). Feel free to bring a small cooler with snacks and beverages too.
Our tour departs from and returns to Bird’s Bookstore.
